banned from fiverr

Once you’ve been banned from fiverr, good luck getting your account unsuspended. I use fiverr to work with vendors to do some of my SEO work, as part of the internet marketing service I provide. Speaking from experience, there’s no second chances with fiverr. I was banned for no reason other than I claimed I was violating their TOS. That was their only explanation. I had done $100’s if not $1,000’s of dollars in business and the only “glitch” I ever had was receiving a warning about attempting to contact their sellers. I realized my error and never did it again. Then about 1 year later, they banned me. I corresponded with them briefly, until they quit responding to my request for more specific reasons.

Create a Second Fiverr Account?

Next, I created another account using a different username and email address and everything worked fine for about one month, then wham, suspended again. This time they offered a little better explanation. They said I was using multiple accounts. Again, they stopped communicating with me after that one answer to my support ticket.

I don’t sell anything on fiverr, I only buy. So now I need to start working with a whole other set of vendors. After doing some research, here are what I feel are the biggest and busiest sites, next to fiverr. It shouldn’t be too hard to find more vendors to replace my existing ones.

Here are what I feel are the top sites like fiverr as of 3/1/2012, based soley on their – ALEXA rank.

Fiverr.com sites

I also like this site like fiverr, even though it’s not quite as popular. what sets this one apart is that they charge NO COMMISSION! Unlike fiverr, if you sell a gig for $5, you get to keep all $5 less any paypal fees of course.sites like fiverr

What About Micro Worker sites?

Another way to find vendors will be to put my job out for bids on micro worker sites. On those types of sites, vendors compete to get the best price and service for your specific gig. If you want to go down that route, here are some websites to checkout?

Hear from others who have had their accounts suspended from fiverr and read their stories about being banned here: fiverr sucks.

Great information on this site. I have my own website that sells edu backlinks but I also have a few gigs on fiverr and was looking for other alternatives. Thanks for the information.

You’re welcome Jessica. By the way, although Deucerr.com isn’t my site, if you add your gig there I will promote it for you on this site. Who knows, I might even be your first customer there. 🙂

Hi Dave. Check out Ten Dollarz. We were on Killer Startups yesterday. We have an algorithm built in where if you share your job on social media you can trend on all pages of the website. We’re getting 3000 worldwide visitors a day. Quantcast will back me up on that. Check it in a few days.

I found this GREAT Fiverr like site for the Business sector where I can list my services for much more money like $250-$2500. It is on http://www.commpro.biz/bizgigs

It is a great option for professional providers of services to get paid more.

Sorry about the WAY LATE response to your post, but I noticed here and at the digital point forums, you listed tenerr.com and not http://www.tenrr.com. I don’t know if you meant to list tenrr.com instead (on forum it has name tenerr.com but links to tenrr.com). Anyways, I own tenrr.com and the site has been around much longer than tenerr and I’m 99.9% confident you meant tenrr. Either way, sorry to hear about all this and you should definitely try out tenrr.com if you haven’t. We’re the biggest site out there that is truly commission free and we are totally OK with buyers contacting sellers and vice versa – even if the only reason for the contact is to get their email address!

When you make $10, you get $10 right away! Anyways, thought I would let you know about that and if you meant the other site or not, that’s fine – you should just try tenrr.com either way. I’m sure you’ll meet plenty of great folks on our site to work with in the future. (I understand if you don’t post this comment! I wrote it more for you to look into our site and check it out. If you like it, I would hope you’d spread the word! Also, hopefully not all these .com’s turn into links – this comment is going to look like the spammiest POS ever!)

    Have a good day!

    Hi there,
We have just launched two similar sites http://fiverup.com and http://fiverrup.com to earn $5 to $10K. Our sites support video and products that need shipping plus more. Please give them a look and comment on it, we would love some feedback.
    Thank you
