My mechanic has only a few more things to test on my ’98 Pontiac Bonneville, and then it will be certified as completely tuned. He has assured me though, that it will most definitely pass all the O2 codes when I bring it in the day before the installation of the HAFC (Hydro Assist Fuel Cell).

My mechanic is really excited to install it as well. He has been telling his friends and they are all awaiting the results. Add that to all the people I have been talking to about it and we will definately see a lot of other HAFC installs running around the Twin Cities, MN area.

Until I started talking to him about it, he had never really heard about hydrogen powered ehicles. Now, after doing some research on it, he agrees with me that in nearly all cases the hydrogen hybrid kit would be applicable.

At this point, I feel that if all I can do is increase my fuel efficiency by 50% as promised, I will pay for the HAFC and installation expense in just under three months. But, being the optimist that I am, I think I will easily be able to double my mileage. In that case, I should be able to re-coupe my investment cost in less than 2 months. Yes, I do a lot of driving, but even so I think the HAFC would be an excellent investment for anyone.
