Information dissemination would be much faster through social networking sites rather than using TV, radio and newspaper as advertising tools, but these tools are still effective none the less. Personally, I would prefer promoting my product in social networks for my advertising needs because expenses are kept to a minimum.

Marketing a product can now be done worldwide that even companies or businesses that are tight on their budgets can equally compete through social networking sites.

Pictures of products can be posted on the wall of your friends or followers as well as its specific details as to the price, size, color and availability of the products. The size of the market and profitability depends much on how a product is promoted in terms of appearance, presentation and delivery.

These social networking sites can, likewise, serve as a reception in making reservations like in a hotel or restaurant. The nice thing here is that when a reservation is done, the activity is then posted on the wall of all your friends and of your customer’s friends, too. In this way, social networks extend a lot of help in promoting your business without much effort.

This is a where a company can pinpoint where they can actually improve on their products and services. Social networking sites can again be counted on this type of job.

Social networking sites, such as Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, LinkedIn, or ShoutLife, can be a very helpful marketing tool. The scope is unlimited and the market is easy to reach. These social networking sites may really be counted as a great business partner in making a business grow in terms of market and profitability.
